Very big beds, Wi-Fi and heating in the room. Incredibly beautiful view of the cathedral from the window. Magnificent and absolutely perfect location so close to the Christmas market, and 10 minute walk from Chester Cathedral.

A beautiful ambience, great hotel very centrally located. The food, whether breakfast or dinner, everything was fresh and very tasty. The beds are very comfortable and wide. Bathroom was sufficient.

Best afternoon tea!
We had a fab afternoon tea to celebrate my friend's birthday. Served us complimentary bubbly, and even let us take some cakes home! The atmosphere was just lovely. Only thing was, I wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy the spa facilities. Definitely a treat worth every penny!

great stay but breakfast options limited
The staff provided really good service, being attentive and friendly throughout our stay. Our Classic Room was well-appointed, with comfortable bedding and thoughtful amenities that enhanced our comfort.
Breakfast choices were somewhat limited for dietary restrictions.

The location is perfect. The hotel is already a little over the zenith, but it has plenty of charm and lives the British style.
The staff - especially at the reception desk - is not properly trained. Apart from that, everyone is very friendly and always tries to satisfy the guest. . A note for guests arriving by car would be helpful. There is direct access to the hotel on the 2nd floor of the Grosvenor Shopping Center parking garage.

Very nice upscale old style, from the reception with holding the doors open from the car to the entrance to the service at breakfast. Staff simply extremely friendly, huge comfortable bed, great location right in the heart of Chester.
exciting journey by car, as well as a little patience if you want to have your car on departure (approx. 20 min), but is not a problem on vacation

I loved hot breakfast, fantastic views.
In general the service was very efficient! The room was beautifully presented with comfortable beds and air conditioner and Wi-Fi. All the staff was well-motivated, fixed my issues. The hotel's location was magnificent and unbeatable, very close to the restaurant and price of meals and all major stores and the centre of Chester, restaurants, bars shops on the door step.

Centrally Located Near Attractions, High-End Cocktail Lounge Experience, Luxurious Bathroom Amenities
The room temperature control was annoyingly poor!!! A limited number of teabags and the absence of complimentary water were disappointing!!! The parking situation could be less chaotic!!! These are small details, but they matter!!!

Location
Breakfast - poor options for breakfast and you had to pay extra for anything decent to eat! When u already paying over the odds for the room anyway, a decent breakfast should be included in the price! The room was prepared for one whereas we were two people staying for our anniversary. I had to ask twice for them to bring up extra towels and a robe. one of the staff brought a newsletter to our room that said congratulations Mr and Mrs Ghandini on your 10th anniversary!!! This was not us!! We are the Aslans and it was our 2 year anniversary! The women looked confused and then took it away. Although my spa treatments were good, the spa was very small and not worth the £35 to go there. We were disappointed as ultimately the price we paid did not match our experience.
